¿OCUPACIÓN O APARTHEID? una resignificación interpretativa necesaria para el caso palestino/israelí

Cada año aumenta el número de académicos y asociaciones que acusan al estado israelí de cometer crímenes de lesa humanidad del apartheid. A esta premisa ya se han adherido reconocidas organizaciones locales e internacionales, así como académicos y relatores especiales designados por el Consejo de Derechos Humanos de la ONU. El objetivo de este trabajo es hacer un estudio comparativo y crítico de los argumentos utilizados a favor del uso de la tipificación del apartheid para definir la situación en Palestina/Israel. Para ello, revisamos los informes de las últimas décadas redactados por diferentes asociaciones y eminentes académicos, señalando que en las justificativas dadas enfatizan que, además de ser un hecho jurídico, recurrir al concepto de apartheid provoca un cambio de perspectiva y una profundización teórica, que permite integrar violaciones practicadas por Israel en diferentes tiempos y espacios.
