This article reflects on the architecture of the first school groups in Sergipe deployed in early twentieth century and the architectural aspects relate to the educational process of the period. Institutionalising the primary and early childhood schooling, these institutions sought new ways to educate civic and educational not just their students but the entire society from the beginning of the century and one of the strongest contributions to this intent was its monumental architecture. The literature review and analysis of primary sources in dialogue with Frago and Escolano, led us to understand the organization and the possibilities of reaching the silent speech of the architecture school of the first school groups sergipanos.Downloads
