Abstract

This text analyzes the trade (trans)atlantic cape verdean rabidantes in theBrazilian market. These women have a great importance to the local economy and haveenabled intense exchanges between the two countries. In Brazil, the products are mostlypurchased clothing, shoes and jewelry, from Fortaleza in Ceará. It is worth noting thatboth the buying in the Brazilian territory, as the marketing of these products in CapeVerde, occurs in informality, usually at fairs and markets.
