Abstract

This paper discursses about some historiographic interpretations of the discovery of America (1492), throught the semiological and discursive analisys. So it was analized the Cristovan Colombo’s, Bartolomeu de las Casas’, Fernando Colombo’s, Gorman’s, Oviedo’s and Todorov’s dicourse. It was made a problematization about what would be the 1492 historical fact, we defined this as the fruit of inventions and hibridization of signification systems, which turn it into a great historical polissemic fact (invention or simulacrun).
