Abstract

This article tries to show as the white free work world ( white, black, Indian) and compulsory ( Indian and black) was influenced by the Chamber Senate actions of São Luís, in the period, of 1646 to 1755. It introduces also, the internal disputes occurred in the Chamber by indigenous work ownership, and the excuses for the slavery maintenance of the Indian.
