Abstract

This essay analyses the Antonio Gramsci`s State conception, emphasizing its importance to the study on public politics as a whole. It also aims to criticize the historiography about to the subject, in the same way that present-day resignification of the concept of Civil Society promoted by the intelligentsia tuned up to the Neoliberalism, and the theoretical risks from it recurrent.
