Abstract

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate that, having watched the Fronde (1648-1653), civil war against the constituted power in France, Bossuet (1627-1704), a supporter of the monarchy and adviser to Louis XIV (1638-1715), on third article of the ninth book of his Politique (1701-1702), seeking advise you to take precautions in your love life. For the design of Bossuet, at times when the kings neglect matters of state in favor of matters of the heart, they are fragile, with it, the nobility and other subjects belonging to other social groups can take advantage of to revolt against them, which can be fatal to his power.
